What is an ARBORIST?

An ARBORIST is a person that has chosen to learn and practice best methods in Plant Health Care and Maintenance. The study starts at the plants root level, and a person must be proficient in soil composition, have knowledge of various plant material, it's cultural habits, and physical and biological needs. Knowledge of environmental factors as well as insects, pests, and diseases that relate to each plant. Knowledge of various life stages of a plant and how that impacts it as it matures. When trimming a plant, what is best for the plants short and long term health. When removing a plant, how other plants around it may be affected. Use of methods and equipment in trimming and removal. Some trees die or are in too close of a proximity to buildings or people spaces, and removal may be the best choice. Some plants show early signs that they are becoming weak, have developed defects, and may be becoming hazardous. Experience in advanced rigging allows a work team to delicately bring large and heavy wood and limbs to the ground safely. The team also knows how to minimize the impact upon exising landscape plants and soil while getting rid of the unwanted debris.

Many people are not familiar with what the costs are in doing tree work. It may surprise you when given a cost estimate. When you think about the equipment used, the manual labor involved, and what it takes to maintain equipment, and maintain insurances and licenses, it becomes easy to understand the expenses a quality company incurs. Many times we are told by a homeowner that they have been told by a company that they have talked with, that they have insurance, only to call and find they don't. Pricing of your work also involves exactly what you want done. We offer a menu so that you can pick what fits with-in your budget, yet let's you move ahead with your project. Tree removal could include removing the tree and just leaving everything on the ground, chipping the brush, removing or leaving the wood, leaving wood but cutting it into lengths, raking clean-up, stump grinding, removal of stump grindings, backfill stump hole with top soil, and seeding, Each item has an equipment, material, and labor cost. You can save money by doing certain tasks yourself. We have all the equipment to do the complete job. When you hire us, you can count on it being done in a safe, efficient, and timely manner, and as you requested.
